My wife Cathy (Catrinka) & Pam (Podunklander) had a wonderful time at Massey Thursday and snapped a few photos. The attached photos are courtesy of Pam who wished to share them with the group. I did some minimal tweaking of the photos but left them un-cropped. Enjoy!

Some photos from McVeigh's Pub during the Jam Session.
I'll leave it up to the group to put names to faces.
(I trust no one present was in the 'witness protection program' and didn't wish to be photographed)
Everyone looks so sombre - It's Lightfoot at Massey - Smile!!!
Photographs courtesy of Cathy except the final photo of Cathy taken by Pam

Thank you ladies for doing this. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having with this gig because words are just not there, at least not yet. It was great meeting and chatting with you and Rainbow Trout, I'm glad you put up this post as "Rainbow Trout" was one of the tunes we had planned to do yesterday at the pub, but it was overlooked, so at today's gig, we're on for "Rainbow Trout. It'll be the third tune followed by "Triangle" and "Cotton Jenny." Cheers, RJ.

First, Thanks to those who took the time to snap the pictures! Not always an easy thing to do.
Second, Yuri, you get an A+ for getting them posted so timely.... many thanks my friend!
Lastly, just glad a good time was had by all!! Granted more smiles are certainly in order, but great pics all the same... (I think I'd have a silly grin frozen in place by now!!)
And backstage passes to boot!!! now I am envious!

Pam

My apologies Pam and Cathy. It actually was typo. I put the comma, or maybe it should be a semi-colon in the wrong place. No wonder I continually flunked out at my attempt to be a script writer. Anyway, we're off to to it again this afternoon. No time for lunch so it will have to be a liquid one, that being a full regulation size pint of Guinness today. Gotta get that hit of iron. Cheers, RJ.

I wish to thank Pam for her sharing her photos with me and the rest of the group. A nice escape for those of us who were not able to attend. A balcony seat offered Pam had a different visual and auditory experience from the previous show. There really are no bad seats at Massey.

Massey generally allows photography as long as there is no intrusive and distracting flash. Unfortunately Pam's camera was beginning to act up, preventing her from turning the flash feature off or to zoom in. Here are a few more photos showing Pam's view of the stage from the balcony as well as a study of the 'follicley challenged' scalp of the gentleman sitting in front.

I do wish all 'Lightheads' visiting Toronto a safe trip home and do hope those of you who have taken photos during Massey-08, that you'll share them with us as well.

There were lots of smiles and sing-alongs at the jams- the pics show us studiously engrossed in the talents of those on stage....pics just don't show the smiles..a few double chins/grey hairs tho..
;)
I'll have my stuff later..
I am SO tired..
