Ah, Canada

"Canada is half a year of winter followed by half a year of bad hockey"
Snow? what snow? It's just CANADA!

I suppose it would be entirely out of line for someone in Indiana to complain about winter and snow to Canadians.....lol.

John Mellencamp Indiana boy started his concert in Montreal Quebec Canada this past February by asking the crowd, do you think it's gonna snow guys? It had been snowing all day ! Funny guy that Mellencamp. {lol} You got a love him. Have you seen him yet, or go and try to see his estate Nightingale ? :)

Much of our last big dump actually came from the 'south' and Colorado..
thanks Brink.. ;)
Thankfully a neighbour plowed my drive and walks and after the snowplough dropped a ton at the end of the driveway the town sent a small plough to clear it for me..THAT was a surprise!! ..So I had NO shoveling this time around..

No shoveling...that's a good thing.
I think I must trade my shovel in for a mop this week.
It's warming up and will be in the 50s before the week is up which means mud...ick!
John Mellencamp is a great talent and I love him
I have never seen him live....I don't go to that many concerts and just never got around to making it to one of his shows. I have heard he is awesome though.
I have a step brother that plays keyboards professionally and he played with John way back when he still had the 'couger' in his name.
I think he got fired for being a smart*** lol.
Nope, I have never seen his estate even though it isn't that far. I go to southern Indiana quite often in the summer and fall for all of the festivals they have there.
Wine festivals, bluegrass, art and antiques...you name it and they have it...it's a very touristy area.
Maybe one of these days I will run into him around there.
That would be kind of nice even if it left me speechless, which it probably would...lol.

As the years go by it seems the southern CA area gets less and less rain. I like a little bit of winter. Crisp air and that wintery smell. I do feel bad for all those who have flooding and are snowed in and cold. Hopefully you will all have good weather soon. :)

I suppose it would be entirely out of line for someone in Indiana to complain about winter and snow to Canadians.....lol.I'd complain about the winter weather here, but we didn't really have any, unless you count the snow that we got that lasted long enough to shut everything down & then melted away completely the next day. Other than that, we didn't have a winter. Big bummer there.:(

Hi Timetraveler,
No snow for you...you sound so disappointed...lol.
I guess the snow is nice for a while but I always get tired of it before winter is over.
We used to snowmobile alot but we ran out of snow for a few years in a row so we ended up having to go to Michigan for good riding. We finally sold them and then it started snowing every winter again...lol.
We have mud for the time being. I think I would rather have snow...it's easier to clean up.
Maybe next year you can make a snowman...lol.
If not, maybe the nice canadians around here will send you a flake or two...
