Hi Char,

Thanking you very much, I now do have both of them. It's kind of ironic at the very beginning around 2 minutes and 50 seconds into it, they mentioned a previous weeks show, "The John Lennon Tribute at Jeff Healy's Roadhouse." ... Who would have thought that when I got to hear this again, that Jeff Healy would actually no longer be with us... Sad & strange world sometimes eh ? :(

But you were great Char, made me laugh when they said you took over the show, all in good fun of course. :)

Really appreciated this,

Thanks again,

~Jesse Joe~ :)

Isn't it just like people......you give 'em a little title such as "moderator", and the next thing you know.....they wanna rule the airwaves.

Very entertaining, and although Canadians talk funny, I extend my thanks.

Thanks, Char! Did you ever get your prize pack?

Yep - us Canucks talk funny but we make lovely music..well some of us do anyway..the others talk on the radio..
lol
Yep - got the prize pack - from my posting on Dec.20:

I collected my 'prize pack' today at CFRB. It was a lovely day in Toronto - grey and overcast but no wind and quite mild. The streets were brown and gritty and Yonge st. was a-bustling with Christmas shoppers from St.Clair all the way to the Eaton Centre at Shuter where the House of Gord (Massey Hall) is located. Lisa and I ate in a window booth at FRAN'S which is across the street from Massey and watched the folks walking by.
The Prize pack had: Harmony (not signed since Gord didn't make it to the studio) he owes me one!
Murray Mclauchlan - double cd -Best of - songs from the street.
Dala CD (autographed) - two young ladies who have performed in the Lightfoot trib.shows at Hugh's Room and will again in January.
Greg Godovitz autographed cd - host of the Rock Talks show on CFRB and founder of rock group "Goddo"
Goddo LIVE dvd- autographed, march 1979 first CHUM/CITY TV simulcast on TV concert.
STYX DVD- may 2006 concert with Cleveland contemporaty youth orchestra.
STYX - unauthorized true story of Styx book. autographed by author.
blair packham cd - autographed
glenn reid CD - autographed- co-host of Rock Talks on CFRB, plus a deck of long oval playing cards..
Lisa and I walked down a couple of blocks to 1365 Yonge and the EMP office but no one was home..

Wow! Not too sloppy eh! I imagine that you'll be taking along that copy of Harmony to one of the shows you'll be attending to collect that autograph (-:

Just finished listening to the 2nd (FAN) interview. His memory for details of long ago events is amazing!

Along those lines.......I always find Lightfoot's choice of words to be interesting. I can't remember the last time I used the word 'ensconced' in a casual conversation.

We talk funny, can retain/recount long ago details and use big words..
lol
And you must realize that Mr. Lightfoot did not bear any children and so has not lost most of his mind as most women do, thus affording him the ability/luxury to actually remember those big words, how to use them and actually put them into a conversation that does not begin with "See Spot run..or One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.."

Char - mother of two, owner of fewer brain cells than I had prior to March 21/84..but i can HUM a tune to beat the band..

I could listen to him talk all day long...

I wouldn't be too alarmed. You sounded quick-witted and intelligent as far as I'm concerned (although that may just be my cheap computer speakers).
