sorry, no new creations to add this season but found in the archives while freeing up MBs

great try catch up and read John Stinson and co thread regarding vintage venues

I'd say along with Massey, the Sanderson centre was a real treat, superb mix and acoustics that night, very audible from 5th row and wonderful restoration, especially ceiling work

some history here:

and some pics to sift through:

wish I'd seen Gord at the old now crumbled Tivoli in Hamilton, nearby where we gathered for the Gord's comeback special (glad he didn't dress like Elvis) ...I got to see Sarah Harmer play there shortly before it caved

I realize these venues are "new" compared to older spots in New England and the old country

one sis came down from Orillia last week to see born again opera house in Toronto, not bad

oh, John Stinson, I agree about live harmony....funny, but studio wise, basically, the only Gord album that has no harmony is called Harmony :) ...but I realize it's his first guitar type

cheers,
JJ

and happy holidays to all ye faithful

that sounds great as always! are you going solo and do you have any reservations?

my only 'reservation' is that I am never 100% sure I'm free of harrysitting any given night

I'll always remember that first event as one of the best birthday presents I got from Mich and bro... then again, I believe it was I who ended up forking out the dough, lol

would love to see Ron J also ...seems, no Jenny Whitely this year but love her new CD

my volumes of e-mail archives and attachments froze my outlook, this means time for a major purge :( just did same on the G5 and I gotta say it's well worth it, humming nicely again

keep me up to date, char... would be wonderful if falls into place and we can catch up!
