Hi, all. I know I've been virtually absent lately--lots to do, but I still read the posts every day that I can.

I was just listening to the two-set CD of the UA collection. I really got absorbed in "Black Day in July" (I know, not everyone's favorite, but it's a powerful song for those of us who remember those times, and a very balanced "reporting" of what was going on); right after that on the CD comes "May I". It's one of the weirdest choices I can imagine, absolutely and totally different kinds of songs, almost from different planets--one a searing social commentary with lots of loud drums and electric guitar, and one a kind of playful, puppy-love child's romp with a sort of "1930s" tinkling-piano kind of sound. My question: can you think of any other back-to-back selections like this that are even stranger?
Best to all--I've been reading the prayer lists on the forum, and have dutifully kept all in my thoughts and prayers. You might also say one for a cousin of mine, who is in the last stages of an inoperable brain tumor.

Regards,
DQ

hopw about "Crossroads" after the lilting "Softly" and
"Boss Man" after the mellow-drama of "Something Very Special" ?

After getting enveloped into the soft ones,it's a bit jarring to go into that "harder" attitude.
