I heard that Gordon's photo is on a big billboard in Duluth, MN advertising the concert that is coming to the DECC. They got him wearing a leather jacket. I haven't seen it yet, but if I get over to Duluth in the next few days I'd like to get a picture of it. Anyway, I was glad to hear about the billboard.

I think that's great. :) He should have as much notice as any other singer/artist. The "biggies" have gigantic publicity machines,an artist like Gordon doesn't. Every little bit helps. ;)

Well, I did get a picture of that billboard. Actually, my son, Levi did with his Fuji FinePix E900. As we were just beginning to get into Duluth on the highbridge we saw a bald eagle heading toward our car. I took that as a sign.....to get a good picture of a sign. ha-ha. Anyway, the pic on the back of his camera looks really nice. And it looks like he was wearing a denim jacket, not leather. Same thing. I've never posted a picture on corfid yet, but one day, maybe soon, but someday, I hope to post it here.

Thanks Gitchigumee, I hope I can post it somehow soon. It was taken with a good camera with about a zillion pixels. I got me an 8 by 10, (brag, brag),...but I don't know how to post it off a cd onto corfid.

Hi Patti,
Letting us know that you have an 8x10 picture of that billboard is not bragging. I for one am very happy for you. Be sure to frame it soon before it gets wrinkled.
Enjoy,
DSR

Hi. A friend can help me when I can get back here. She can scan it and post in probably. Sorry it's taking so long. I tried it from a library, off a cd, but it said there was some error, so I couldn't post it. I don't have a home computer right now. But soon you can see the billboard picture.

That's great! Thanks Patti.
cool stuff, wonderful to have posted this Patti and char
had thought this was going to be a song chart thread
dunno if I can recall a billboard showing GL even in Toronto recently - many posters, yes
yeah, they used his denin jacket (with cord collar, i believe) from the APPT photo shoot
i do like the more recent promo concert shot where he actually is standing black denim but it's vertical and isn't too compatible with billboard dimensions
really, this billboard is my fave pic I've seen posted in a while - tough act to follow, thanks!
today Duluth... tomorrow the world (and beyond) ;)
even with all his awards & fame, I imagine he still gets a kick when seeing a GL billboard, etc

JJ, I know I sure do. Great! Now if only I was going to be in the front row, the world would be a very cheery place. :)

GREAT to see a pic of the billboard! Thanks Patti! It must have been really something to see the larger than life in person. And thanks JJ for posting these others...I've never seen the one with Gord wearing the denim jacket.
