J.P. Cormier, a great Lightfoot fan as anyone of us Corfidians. :)

Van Morrison...
Because of the hat Joveski, I see what you mean.:)
J.P. Cormier is an incredible talent Jov, on that tribute to Lightfoot CD, he plays every instrument on the CD. He's played w/ the best of the best, before deciding to pursue a solo career. :)

J.P. w/ his Martin D-18-GL signature guitar.
For those who dont know, notice the Gordon Lightfoot signature between the last 2 frets. :)
Where's Cathy Cowett by the way ?

and The Fitz is inlaid just above his signature.
it's a gorgeous geetar but I bet it doesn't smell as nice as Cathy's geetar..

I didn't know about the Fitz inlaid. Can you find a bigger picture that would show this? I will try myself tomorrow. :)

Thank's Char, there it is, The Fitz. I saw that often, but from a distance and never knew it was an Inlay of The Fitzgerald. J.P. doesn't use this guitar in concert, at least not here in Moncton last Nov 18, as I was seated 2nd row centre.
It sure is sharp looking. I guess he will be remembered for that great song.
I know he said in an interview after being ask about his favorite song ever, he was really happy w/ CRT, but the one about The Fitzgerald stood out. Also they recorded that song in 1 take. Stu Jeffries the interviewer replied "WOW that song in one take."
What a guy eh ! :headbang: :)
