This photo was up on eBay for sale and was partially blocked out with a rather large overlay to protect the sale I suppose.

Well, I am OK with photoshop....but my son is brilliant!
So, here's the picture after a few hours of work.

For your collection...NOT FOR SALE ! :)

I keep many photos in a hidden flickr account and post some of Gord from time to time.
Many more to come.

Great pic of Gord w/ that Fender Telecaster, B45-12. But it's not the first I've seen of him with a Fender. I have many books about our beloved poet, posing w/ Fender guitars. The ones I have would look somehat like yours, and Im guessing it's from the Yorkville, Horseshoe Tavern, days in good ole TO.:rolleyes::eek::)

I wonder what year that could be? It's a little confusing,I know it's got to be 70s. He has the beard & the 'stache but is dressed rather ordinary. Must be 1977/78.
Great shot. ;)

I wonder what *song* it would be. Funny that there is no capo...never seen that before in a concert situation. I was only aware of the Gibson SG for concert use in the 80s.

is it from the Salute era?. the way he's fingerpicking it, he could be playing Knotty pine

I am fairly certain that this photo can be (ERA) tied between Summertime Dream and Endless Wire.

Well I wonder what he could be playing way up there without his capo?
Can't be a concert. The ceiling is too low and he is standing on the drums!!!

Maybe it was a walk-on at someone else's show. That mic stand isn't his usual boom-style, and there is no acoustic guitar mic, either. But there's a piece of tape on the guitar under his right hand, which looks like it's there to protect the finish from...maybe a silver and turquoise bracelet or something.

He used to wear such a bracelet in the 70s-80s. I reckon this is around 'Sundown' time ...

I enlarged the photo and the piece of tape is actually a sticker/decal.
I can see G then his right hand then Y. GORDY???
