Gail Hicks of Scoudouc has a long driveway lined by 18 telephone poles, and on those poles they have placed 18 birdhouses that look like this. Make that 17 birdhouses. This house has been taken over by a hornets' nest, and rather than build a home from scratch, the busy stingers have wrapped the birdhouse in their style of construction

I'd be almost willing to bet you dollars to doughnuts that come summer, those people stay indors all the time, as well as their pets. When those little boogers sting, it feels like you've been hit with a redhot poker. Hopefully, none of those people are allergic to insect stings of that nature.
