OK.......here's the deal,

I'll tally them up, but only after "you" (meaning everyone) post a concert review/experience.

I'm not doubting anyone's veracity, but simply asking you to share.

Can't remember the last time I posted here. Seldom even lurk. But I did attend the Layton, Utah show so I thought I'd speak up. The show was very good, although not as good as the Texas shows. The altitude in Utah gave Gord some problems, as I'm told it did in Colorado.

Anyone have any ideas on when we might get to see a 2008 concert schedule? I can't remember how early the following year's calendar usually gets published. I hope it's soon because I need to plan my year!

Hope everyone is doing well!

What did you think of the show last night? I was extremely dissapointed :( So much so that we left at the break.

RM

Actually I was not at the show. This thread originated from an idea by DSR.....how many concerts this year will be attended by at least one member of this forum. I decided to try and keep track, and the numbers presented represent the tally to date.

Sorry to hear your experience was such a bummer, but everyone's opinion is welcomed. So please hang around, and chime in on topics as they arise. The 'good old days' are discussed frequently.

Within reason, RM there have been a few occasions that some member's have been banned because of their opinions/postings - Gord's family and employees read this board. There are boundries.
That said, reviews even bad ones have been posted and the masses accept it. Not always gladly, but accepted. I think it has to do more with how it is presented and written.

Oh...I was unaware of that. I'll do my best to not be like Miguel and "cross the border".

LOL just between you and I - miguel is one of my least favs. But don't say anything. BTW I played your CD when we were at Beaver Creek for the Colorado concerts. Very warm reception to it. My favorite is still the one that drew me to your site....Memories Run Deep.

Re: How are we doing? (last leg)

Ron,

Minneapolis will be covered. There will be many of us there. For sure amongst all of us we will come up with the the sets, and many comments. After Gord was here last year, when he had the stroke, so many fans had a running commentary going on it. Whether he is in good voice or has problems, that's not the point. The point if that he is just a master at his craft, and he is our friend. With that thought in mind, we can remember last year and how he bonded with the audience. It was as if we were one at times. He is one of us, he is human, and such a gracious one at that. If he can't hit all the notes
the band can help. If you remember last year, they never took their eyes off of him when he was having problems. They can compensate for almost anything. He and his band are like a unit, and it will work. However it goes we will have experienced greatness in it's highest form. God bless you Gord.....you'll never know all of the people that you have touched and helped just by being you. Pushing on through adversity is a new lesson that you have taught us. You have given your all.

>>>>>>>> FINAL TALLY <<<<<<<<<

Conceding that Duluth will be covered :

54 concerts / 48 attended (89%)

I believe special mention should be extended to DSR, et.al, for their contributions via Gordquest '07. She also was the originator of the idea for this thread.

It started in January, and ended with a flurry of dazzling reviews.

I think it's safe to say that Corfidians not only 'talk the talk'.......we 'walk the walk'.

Salute !

Ron,
can you list all cities and number of attendees? or at least note that at least one of us was in attendance??
