How often do you find such stuff on the WWW?
Probably not often. For years I've often taken interest in the past and at one time I would often go to the library to look through old town newspapers and if I go online the newspaper only has online archives going back to 1996 I believe.
I emailed them once asking about including older newspapers in their archives but they said it would be too expensive to do that.
I guess it's understandable in a way and I wouldn't expect them to bend over backwards but it would be nice to see newspapers and magazines put much of there older stuff online. I've noticed in the past how some here would type up articles on Lightfoot from way back or even posts them on the forum but I'm sure it would be much easier if they just existed online.
