These 2 clips I have the movie on tape. The first one shows The King getting on stage for his last concert. Very Powerful...
And the second clip from the same concert, he forgets the words to the song, and says, "Ah the heck with it." :(
Somewhat sad, but what a worshiped entertainer he was. :)

Jess,my Elvis fan brother has those clips. Elvis forgot the words all right but it's merely a big on stage blooper! :D
I have to admit during that song "Are You Lonesome Tonight" when he's doing the spoken lyrics,it's really funny when he goes,"Honey...who'm I talkin' too?" :D
That and ..."Now the stage is bare and I'm standing there...without any hair!" LOL! :D
(Supposed to be "standing there with emptiness all around".)
...and if you wont come back to me...ah,the heck with it!

Yes indeed Border{Buddy}Stone. I do beleive that last concert, Elvis was wasted, and stoned out of his mind. He was feeling no pain... Sad but true. :(
Forgeting the words, must have been the least of his concerns... ;)
Is your brother also a Lightfoot fan? :)
By the way Im not knocking The King. I am a fan of his. He was one of a kind. I really miss him. :)

Here's the infamous "laughing" version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight." There's no video of it, but the audio is here, played to a montage of pictures. I like when he says, "Sing it, baby." You can't help but start laughing yourself.

No,Jess :D LOL! My brother sat & watched Live In Reno with me once and while he did dig a few songs
(especially Early Morning Rain 'cause of EP) he ultimately got bored. tongue.gif
He and my oldest brother are 70's/80s rocker-metal heads! I will say that the three of us do share a liking of several acts in various music forms though.
My fav's: Singer/songwriters-R & B-(good)pop/top 40,none that teen fluff-rock (unless dirty words are included too much or it's todays). A little rap,jazz,country & a few more.
My middle brother(age 40 in July):KISS,Elvis,Queen, any number of kick butt 80s metal acts(even Christian rockers Stryper). The best acts of the 60's & 70s,too many here. He does like Prince but only for "Purple Rain".
My oldest brother (42 right now):You name anything that's not top 40 fluff,he likes it. He digs Gordon a bit but not like I do.
It's kind of funny,my Mom is a bigger rock fan than me! LOL! :D She's one of the original generation of Elvis fans andshe even likes KISS & Ted Nugent.

 :)
If Elvis was alive today and still touring, his concerts would probably be more like, Live In Reno. :D
This August 16, 2007 already 30 years, that he's been gone. :( Time sure does fly. :)
