I hope the same thing never happens to GL that's just happened to me.

Yesterday I came down with allergies/sinuses and my throat got all dry and hoarse, and last night as I was driving down the road my voice went out completely. Now I haven't been able to talk. If I clear my throat and drink some water, the very best I can get out is a low, pathetic moan. :( :mad: :(

I'm not sick or anything, it's just my throat is messed up from all the dust and pollen in the air. Lucky for me however, I can still type. :) Now I know what it's like for an older singer like GL to have his/her voice go on you.

That happens to me just about every spring. My kids used to love it. They say it was the only time I really shut up.

I get a persistent dry cough with tickle that drives me nuts. If I take something for my sinuses, I really dry out (especially at night.) I'm beginning to notice it already - sure sign of spring.
