26 years (& 2 weeks after),John Lennon making the news.

A year ago a DVD collection of John Lennon clips came on the market as well as a new best of CD.

The news two weeks ago was "26 years since Lennon was killed". As well as 26 since the vigil in Central Park.

After that it was Yoko Ono being threatend by her chauffer.

Now CNN reports that the FBI has finally decidsed to release some long hidden files about John Lennon in the U.S. during the early 1970's and his "activities".

Part of it deals with the fear thathis song "Power To The People" could be dangerous! :rolleyes: Not surprising they'd think that,being Lennon was such an activist/protestor.

While this is big news,it's strange that all this is coming about now. Anyone think it could be a "certain spirit" at work to make sure John's not forgotten? Wouldn't surprise me.

Last bit of news,a new group called The Fray has done a new cover version of "Happy Xmas,War Is Over". I haven't heard it yet but it is sitting at #50 on th Billboard Hot 100 w/a "bullet".
(No sick & wrong pun intended,by the way,that's just the term! :( ) I hope they do it justice.

Also,side question here. Does anyone agree that if John had lost his battle with immigration,he'd still be here? Been me..later! :cool:

You forget Time Traveler,that in the animated movie "Yellow Submarine",Jeremy The Nowhere Man makes roses bloom all over the leader of the Blue Meanies! :eek:

I can only assume you watched that film quite a bit. That particlar part showing up in your dream might mean it's a good memory to you,in relation to John & the Beatles.

The Blue Meanie could be Mark Chapman crossing paths with Lennon. Meaning the roses coming out of Lennon's coat might represent the moment Chapman says "Mr. Lennon?" and "so forth". :(

When the man & woman (or John & Yoko) sit on the ground it could be an interpretive move meaning she's going to be puttinng him to rest there (wherever that ground is) and what's more,that ground could be Central park in NY where they held the vigil.

The before hand part about the tunnel,could be that you connected yourself so closely with John/Beatles that (in a universally connected way) you predicted the worst. Going into a dim or dark place in a dream is almost never a good thing. :(
