MUSICIANS:
Former Fredericton residents John Hughes and Dave Curtis have
reunited to play an eclectic mix of Maritime and folk music.
They have just released their first CD, Turn of the Tide, produced by
Kevin Barry Evans of Evans and Doherty.
Seven of their own songs appear on the CD. Also included are four
traditional songs, three songs by other Maritime writers and a Gordon
Lightfoot song.
The CD also includes guest artists J.P. Cormier and Tom Roach, among
others.
Fredericton residents may remember Hughes and Curtis from the
Foxtooth band with Skip Holmes and Paul duJohn in the late 1970s, and
Stringfever with Glenn Ingersoll, Andy Jones, John Jewett and Mark
Fisher in the early 1980s.
