I spent the weekend up in Elliot Lake which is 7 hrs NW of Toronto... and I had brought along GG Vol 1 with me and as I got on the Trans Canada Highway at Sudbury the CRT started playing and it seemed fitting I was on the highway that runs from coast to coast and you could see the rail line on the right hand side of the highway with all of the trees and the majestic mountains along the way.

This is where Hwy6 north and Hwy 17 meet... ( 17 being the Trans Canada Highway)

Thanks for the pics Gord. How did the CPAP work, are you getting better?

Brink thanks for asking... I've been on the CPAP now for 3-4 days. It's still early to have a full assessment of it but if what I have noticed is of any indication this seems to be the "cure".
It's been nice to wake up and not feel like I have been drinking the night before when I haven't. Also it feels like I have slept. The trick is to wait til I am bone tired before going to bed otherwise the feeling of the mask on your face will bug ya.
No more getting up 5-6 times a night either.

Thanks for the pictures Gord, good to hear from you. BTW what's up there that makes it worth driving 7 hours to get to ? Fishing ?
Bill :)

Thanks Bill :) I have friends who live up that neck of the woods, I have an open invitation to come up there whenever I want to and can afford it. ( gas is not cheap there)
7 hrs is nothing to me considering I drive 8 hrs a day driving taxi. ;)

Charlene, did you ever meet a little girl named Shania, in Timmins.lol Your so lucky to have been born in the same province as our Poet Genius. I started worshipping him when I was only, 14 years of age. I would have ride my bicycle, to Orillia, I think. I know it would have taken me a week or two, maybe more.
I was in Missisauga, Ont, in 1980. We were out side a car dealership. Automobiles going by, lots of traffic. I was honestly trying to see if one would go by with Gord in it. I tell you it's insanity. Later we went down Yonge Street, WOW people every where. And then in Rosedale.
Sorry Gord H, for taking this place to explain to Charlene my insanity for Gordon Lightfoot.
How are you my good man?
I gather you had a nice trip, up North Ontario, nice pics also. I dont know about you health problem, exactly what it is. All the best,,,JJ.
