Hi Sheryl,
I'm not quite sure where you were to put a foot on either side of the border on VI (unless you have exceedingly long legs!)
Perhaps you were in Point Robers or White Rock (You can tell I've never been there) which does that sort of thing.
I looked through the material on the Fernando Valley history and geography. Sounds like a visit to the valley should be in the works sometime! My wife and I travelled through the Sonoma Valley a few years ago (conveniently and incidentally on a camping trip to see Gord at Konocti Harbor) That too was really pretty. Reminded me of Southern Germany.
Say, I have a CD of Gord's songs sung in Czech. I'll bring you a copy of it if you like. It's kind of unique sounding. There are two brothers who fairly popular there and do Gord's music and in fact asked Gord to come over and do some concerts with them. He declined the offer. The accompanying musical arrangements are quite similar to the original songs by Gord.
Well, that's about it for now!
Richard
