anyone member this group. it was a British group who had 1 hit in 1965 called Good News Week. he might of been British version of Berry McGuires Eve of Distruction released not long after it in Nov. or Dec. of 65 and was banned on some station in the US though don't know about the UK or Canada. here's some of it. it's good news week. someone's droped a bomb somewhere contaminnating atmosphere and blackening the sky. > It's good news week. Someone's found away to give the rotting dead a will to live go on and never die. > Have you heard the news? What did they say? Who won that race? What's the weather like today? > It's good news week. Lot's of blood in Asia now they've buthered up the sacred cow they've got a lot to eat. they were lead by Johnathan King to previously recorded Evryone" Gone To The Moon.

You are correct about the Jonathan King connection with this group. He wrote the song Good News Week he also wrote the B side Are You Afraid Of Love? JK also produced both songs. The song was a hit in the UK and received extensive air play.

However I do not think he was part of the group. At the time it was said that the group were serving members of the RAF (Royal Air Force) When pilots fly at low altitude they call it 'Hedge hopping'

As far as I know after this initial success they sank without trace. Or, went down in flames.

As a matter of interest Jonathan King is currently serving a jail sentence, he became too fond of little boys.
