Anything on Gordon lightfoot

Hi Im jonathan Pardy Im in grade 10 and Im doing a big assignment on the greatest poet/song writer/man canada has ever produced. I was just wondering if anyone has any information on Mr. Gordon Lightfoot I would greatly appreacite it. If you could please include where and when he was born who inspired him to write and his early background.

Gee, they're hiring teachers awfully young these days, jpardy (you list "teacher" as your occupation - shouldn't it be student?)
