Hey Florian, no need to apologize for the site being down. It wasn't your fault.
I will tell you one thing though. It wasn't the same not being able to open the forum. It is the first site I go to after my E-mail. This site and its people have become a part of me in the short time I have been a member.
Florian, this is a CLASS site with plenty of CLASS people, and of course that means yourself also.
Thank you again for this site.
Wes.....

Hi Wes,
Thanks for your encouraging words. However, even though it's not my fault, I do feel responsible.
To make up for it, I have redone the "Post Topic" and "Post Reply" buttons.
I hope you like the new style.

Florian, I hope that you didn't take my message in the other topic the wrong way. I guess in my backward kind of way I was trying to say what Wes (so eloquently) said in the message above. I really like this discussion forum and I missed it while it wasn't here. I would never expect you to email me even if I was a registered member, but that really was nice of you to do that for everyone. In fact it's an email address that has prevented me from becoming a registered member by now. The ability to post messages without an email address is a real bonus for me. This is a long way to thank you and tell you how much I appreciate you and this board!! By the way, nice Christmas card!

I'm happy you like the Season's Greetings.

I want to return the honor and thank you for posting on this discussion board.
If you need any help finding an email provider that offers good service for free, just let me know. There are a lot of companies offering free email services.

I'll add my appreciation that you're back! I too missed checking in. For a day or two I just assumed I was doing something wrong! My computer expertise in these things only extends so far. Appreciated you explaining the downtime.
Another question:
What is the "profile signature" all about at the bottom of the reply box?
Thanks
Florian

Hi chris,
You can add a personal signature to every message you post.
To do this, you have to go to "profiles", enter your name and password. Then you can enter a signature you like and update your profile. Your signature gets stored.
Everytime you post a reply, you have the option to add your signature by selecting the small box at the bottom of the message panel.
