I saw on the Saturday Night reruns schedule for those being shown on E! that Gordon's 1975 performance will be on Tuesday, June 18 at both 7:00 PM Eastern and 1:00 AM Eastern on June 19. Thought some of you might want to get the VCR's set. I know I do! He is listed as performing two songs and Buck Henry is the host.

For those of you who are regulars here (and those of you who are not at well), I suggest that you sign up for my mailing list at my GL web site at:

gordonlightfoot.com (http://www.gordonlightfoot.com)

I always make a point of both posting this type of information, and also sending out a mailing to alert people to upcoming events. I have a short article about it which is a main page headline item. There is one additional scheduled broadcast (if you are VCR-challenged and need a third opportunity).

Hello all. I just watched this show, but missed the first 25 minutes or so. I saw Gordon perform "Summertime Dream," but that was it. Did anyone who saw the whole show see him perform another song, or was the show edited and his other performance deleted?

Thanks!

In answer to scienceguy1998's question, yes, "Summertime Dream" was the only song shown. "Spanish Moss" was also listed in the show highlights I saw but was edited out. I hope that since The Commedy Channel is also showing some of the old shows that it might show up on their line-up at a later date. The Comedy Channel seems to be showing the entire shows. It is wonderful to see Gordon and the band at any stage of their lives, so I am grateful for even one song.

I wrote the Comedy Network in Canada the other day, they told me unfortunately they only have the rights to the 96-97 Season.

Well, thanks for the replies. At least I know I did not miss anything. It would be nice to see his complete appearance on SNL at some future time.
