Country singer Gary Stewart dies: no Gord content

Hello, since this is the music section of the board, I thought I'd post here. Gary Stewart isn't really folk at all, mainly hard-core country, but if anyone likes his music, I thought you'd want to know. It appears he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and this coming a month after his wife died. I was saddened to hear this, since I've been into his music for a year and a half.

I looked him up on the computer and recognize some of his songs. But I couldn't find any articles about him or his wife.

Go to http://www.google.com and click the news tab. Then do a search on his name. I did this yesterday and came up with three or four stories of his death. It's really quite a tragedy. He's been around the country music industry for a very long time. What a sad ending to a nice musical career.
