Since GL sometimes (or most of the time) sings about the ocean and boats and ships. Do you think his voice would lend well to any Beach Boys classics? I'd love a complete 360 turn version of "Sloop John B". "Sail On Sailor" is another that comes to mind. Any ideas? My favourite Beach boys/Brian Wilson song is "This Whole World" from the "Sunflower album. Gord could have done a great acoustic version of this, particularly in the early 70's. Perhaps in a lower key!

I've been thinking about it and the idea of Gord singing Beach Boys is as funny as when Pat Boone finally did an album of Heavy Meatal! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif When he did that,I literally rolled on the floor to his version of G & R's "Paradise City".
