so I dig out my vinyl copy of Old Dan's Records, took it to a friend's house where he still has a turntable, and had him copy the album on cassette so that I could at least hear it in my car (now that I am limited ti discs at home).

Oh joy! Rapture!!(Wasn't it the Scarecrow who said that first?)

From the first notes of Farewell to Annabel, I was transported to Gordheaven. Well I guess that I'm going to have to dig out East of Midnight, Dream Street Rose, and Endless Wire too.

I'll tell you what, though, after several years layoff, it's hard to describe the thrill of Can't Depend on Love and It's Worth Believin', two of my all-time favorites. "I spent most of my life outside. . . in the drivin' rain. . .". So lovely!

Endless Wire IS on CD. It's Salute you're looking for.

Worth Believin' is on GG2 in it's original form.

"Can't Depend On Love" is on the latest box set. Sounds Great...

"It's Worth Believin" is my all time favorite.

I didn't know East of Midnight was on vinyl. I only have in CD form. Do you have it on vinyl?

2Much2Lose,

The only original Lightfoot albums not on vinyl are:

Waiting for You
Painter Passing Through
Songbook

There may be some remakes that never were available on vinyl either.

Hey 2much2lose....I have East of Midnight on vinyl, cassette and CD ! Jay, I have my sister in law burning a copy of Salute from cassette to CD for me. If, and when Rhino comes out with Salute on CD, I'll buy it then too so Gord gets his share !
