I have a song somewhere on a tape, copied from a friend who had the album. I have never heard this song anywhere else, don't know the title or what album it is on. This is part of the song as I remember it, please help. Thanks.

From the coast of California
Up to the Oregon border
I've thumbed a thousand miles I guess.

Sittin in a road side diner
The big trucks rolling by
I don't seem to know at times whats best

But still I'd like to tell her
I love her so
In north Ontario.

I can't remember the rest of the song, if anyone knows anything about this please help. It has been driving me nuts for years because I would like to find the album. Thanks again
