Dear friends,
i'm a big Gordon fan as much as a big Mellencamp fan.
In the CBC archives site i found this:

"The CBC commissioned Lightfoot to write The Canadian Railroad Trilogy for this New Year's Day program celebrating Canada's Centennial in 1967. The song appeared on Lightfoot's The Way I Feel album released later that year. Rank & File and John Mellencamp are just two artists who've recorded the song over the years"

It is true that Mellencamp recorded it? Where i can find it?
Thank you

Hi Max! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif Well,I checked Mellencamp's main site and went through the discography. I checked all titles on every LP and I saw no CRRT.

A different site I happened to find said that he had recorded it but listed the album as "unknown". http://www.corfid.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Which means he may have recorded it but it's not been released as of yet. ...or else it's some made up thing. I tried! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif
