Who else besides Boarderstone and me are counting the days before they see Gordon in concert this month? :D It is so hard to believe another year has passed. I am looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you this year. :) :)

The whole year? Let's not tire the guy out for pete's sake! :D
He does need to rest up after this tour is over,I feel. He played a lot of dates last year, especially the Massey shows. ;)
Yep...a good long rest,& then a new CD. :D

I didn't mean every single day. I want him to be healthy and be around for a lot of years to come too. :D

Will anybody be in Anaheim Jan.31? I would really like to put a face with a name. :D :) :)

Thanks, but no big deal if he doesn't get here. I live in the middle of nowhere, so never really expect him to appear in this area. I always travel to see him, so likely will end up doing the same at least a couple of times this year.

Hello Borderstone,
I'm smiling for you. I hope you have a good seat and nobody's camera is flashing and making sounds so you can hear. :)
I hope you all have a good week.

Good to hear RMD. :)
Okay, let's hear from other luck ticket holders.
Borderstone, have a good week. :)

Hey Dream Street Rose! :) You bet I have a good seat! ;) (A rarity in my usual concert going experiences).
I have a 4th row seat! Yeah baby! :D If I could have gotten to Ticketmaster a week sooner (and had the $$) I could've possibly had a 1st row, something I've never had!
Unless you count standing in a crowd practically smushed up against a stage first row. (Bryan Adams show 1985)
Oh and yes....T minus 10 days & counting!!
Boy,how did 5 months go so fast?
Patti

I can't afford to go to a concert. He can come over to my house if he wants. :D
Dream Street Rose
01-20-2007, 03:09 PM
Hi Borderstone,
Fourth row sounds like a winner to me. I am under 5 feet tall(or short), so I try to get front row or a level higher than the stage. :)
The first concert we are going to in Anaheim I was lucky enough to get seats in a "special" area that is suppose to be great seating. I have never been there so I will find out soon. :D
I bought Gordon's book "I Wish You Good Spaces", on EBay last year so I am taking that for him to sign. Great addition to my Lightfoot collection.
Enjoy the weekend and please let me know how excited you are as the concert approches. :) :)

DSR! You're the one who beat me out of the book!!
Just kiddin'!! :D
Have fun in Anaheim! :)
Last one before the show folks....One week,1 day and about 2 to 3 hours until he hits the stage at the Orpheum!!

Hey Borderstone,
Thanks for the laugh. :D You have a good sense of humor.
:) :) :) :)
I'll ask one more time. Will anyone besides my husband and me be at any of the California concerts in Jan. or Feb.????
Reporting live (sort of) from Tucson with this update.....Lightfoot's Jan. 29th performance here is sold out......

That's great, when I was in Tucson in October I was telling my Uncle that he was coming down. Uncle Jack and his wife both said that they really doubted that there were many, if any, Gord fans in the Tucson area. Glad to hear it is sold out.

1) There are more folks with good taste around here than I imagined
or
2)With the aging of our population, a surprising number of people have acquired the same wisdom I possessed 30+ years ago.

If anyone wants to go to Phoenix there are 2 tickets on EBAY item #23007821360. :) Kind of a last minute thing if you were not planning to go but sometimes those work out the best.
Just thought I would share. :D

Closest concert date to me, thus far in 2007, is Kansas City, MO, in June. Now if only he could get a teeny bit closer to where I live. It would be an 8 hour drive to Kansas City. Hmm...

One question before Sunday's show, who "actually" is going to the Phoenix show?
I may make a sign saying Borderstone on it so other can recognize me.
(Unless you remember my photo on here that well! :D )
Gotta get through 4 more workdays first! tongue.gif

Livinging in Those Senior Moments, would you please clarify for Old Rez whose going to The Mouse House . . . ?

Oh Borderstone-Borderstone,
You got me to laugh twice in one week. :) :) I really hope the next time we stop in Phoenix on our way to Jerome or Lakeside-Pinetop(both in AZ), I can meet you. I still feel cautious about posting but you are definately bringing me out of my shell. :D :) The answer to your question is another question. Who wouldn't?? tongue.gif

Attention, attention calling The Rez.
Come in Rez, do you read me??
I will be the one upstairs(where I hope you are too), holding the sign saying Borderstone.
 Only kidding about the sign.
Maybe we could meet before the concert. My husband and I only live about 30 minutes away so it is an easy trip for us.
Borderstone, come join us. You can sit on my lap and then we can have our picture taken with The Man together. ;)

It's 5pm on Jan. 27th and Rose was right, those 4 workdays went quick! It is now, just over 26 hours until showtime! :)
I have to still choose what LPs I'd like autographed & I have to buy a disposable camera.
(Hopefully I don't get in a hurry and buy a disposable razor! LOL!! :D ) I don't own a "real" camera.
I'm makin' a day of it,so I may stop in the downtown branch library tomorrow. Monday I'll give you guys the full scoop! ;) A lot of work for one show,I mean...I'm missing "The Simpsons" for this!! (Just kidding! :D )
I still wonder, where did four years,5 months & 22 days since the last show go?

Hey Borderstone, you are a cutie pie. Lucky for you I am a happily married woman. If you want to see what I look like go to my profile and go to my web site.
Now is the time for you to relish every moment before the concert because as we know it is over in a blink of an eye. :D I hope I will make my four night run. It would be a first for me. My mother is afraid I will overdose. How awesome, a Lightfoot overdose.
Are you able to sleep the night of the concert? Or do you hear the songs going around in your head all night like I do?
Anyway, I am sending good vibes your way for a magical night and safe travel.

Hey Rose and all! :) Just dropping in at 4pm @the downtown libaray to say,I'm just about there. ;)
The show starts at 7:30 and I'm going to eat downtown before-hand. I've got a 79cent notpad in my pocket for the play list,I have my $3 camera and 8 (count 'em! :D )8 Lps for the signing.
Speaking of signs,I have a little index card that says " Corfid.com /Borderstone" on it. If any of you are there,if you see it well...you know it's me! :D
Rose,I slept just fine last night but then again I worked at 7am yesterday. Today, before departing I did dishes & laundry and fed my brother's Pomeranian. *Arf! Woo-hoo.
So,I'll be back tomorrow on a sepearate thread w/my full review. I most likely wont be "shouting out" any song titles this time. I know he doesn't like that.
