Sundown dance mix

I was recently in a club in Montreal and
heared a soft dance mix of Sundown. Any
ideas who did it or what album it's on?

A man/group (not too sure the specifics) name Elwood recently did a cover of Sundown, I am assuming this is the one you are referring to. You can listen to part of it at CDNow.com to see if it is the song you are looking for (though I can't imagine it being anything else), the name of the album is Parlance Of Our Time.

Yeah, I read that Gord isn't really into that kind of music, but he is really flattered by the song because Elwood was basically paying a tribute rather than just recording a song that sounded cool...
