The only way I'd buy A Gordon Lightfoot Christmas Album is if every song were one of his own except that I would like to hear his take on,"Little Drummer Boy". That's my favorite. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif

I think he'd do a great job with "The Huron Carol," which, although obscure, is reputed to be the very first Christmas carol to have originated on the North American continent.

OK I am very sorry that I can't offer you a Gord Christmas album as such only a compilation album to include:-
Song for a Winter's Night
10 Degrees And Getting Colder
Cold on The Shoulder
Summertime Dream
Drink Yer Glasses Empty
Blackberry Wine
Ring Them Bells
and Stay Loose
amongst others already written
But I can offer the chance to download the
spoof Ktel Television commercial by the Canadian SC (Second City)TV comedy network
promoting "a 379 track album of Gord singing every song ever written". this IMHO hilarious production includes Good King Wenceslas amongst other "Lightfoot" rarities
simply insert a new HD floppy and click on this link to download an 844KB mp3 http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/LIGHTFOOT/SCTV%20-%20Gordon%20Lightfoot%20KTEL%
Or try to see if you can get the streaming version to function by clicking on the appropriate link on my Gordon Lightfoot webring ringmaster's page at:- http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/lightfoot
Enjoy

Some time ago this topic was brought up. Someone suggested "If Children Had Wings".
