Yep,John! :) That's the one with Gorodn singing,Summertime Dream & Spanish Moss. :)
Then attempting a 3rd song only to have his strings cut by John Belushi/Samuri Warrior!! :D LOL!
Isn't it weird how they ended up dating that same woman? Gordon has never discussed that time,ever!
Wish he would,I'm curious! :)
Staged of course!

Staged of course! Perhaps that's how Belushi met her, maybe she was traveling with Gord??? Thank God she didn't lead Gord to his death like she did John.

Borderstone,
I think Lightfoot has way too much "class" than that.
Having read a portion of Cathy Smith's book "Chasing the Dragon" and HER recounting of their relationship, and even if just a small fraction of it is true, I believe Lightfoot has "discussed" it through some of his songs.

All I can say any further on it,is in a clip of an Entertainment Tonight (that I saw a few years back) interview from
1983(promoting & shown recording Salute!);
Mary Hart states that before the show Gordon was advised by WB not to discuss his relationship with her.
I'm guessing that even though 2 years had gone by,it was still to soon since John Belushi's passing to comment.
So,I can only think they must've had some connection. I do know that Gordon has got to be too smart a man to get caught up in heroin use.
I'll never understand why others aren't that smart about it. :confused: Having never done drugs myself,it boggles my mind!

Hi Blackberry John I sent you a further Private Message on Ocober 9th and it is still showing in my list of sent PMs as "unread by recipient" although I suspect that you read it long ago in your regular email inbox. I was rather hoping to get a response from you so could you now look at your own profile please. Meanwhile one of the tracks on the LA broadcast I was referring to and I was most anxious to hear has been made available (such as it is) here by Mende Joveski
