Now Ron settle down after playing with Syd for so many years you must know how to handle the buren of fame(or should that be pain). Just kidding of course. Marian, go easy with the meds(is the insurance paid up?). Hope to see you both soon, Donna only gets out when your both hear. Great picture-Mikey

I'm obviously in need of a shake up. RJ. Ron, have you ever seen Third Rock From The Sun? John Lithgow is the 'father' of the family of aliens. Here's a bunch of pictures of him from Google Images:

And remember Gord figured prominently in one episode ... or was that RJ???? ;)
RJ..Ronnie....Ron...Lighthead2toe...now where are my meds..All of the above. Just so you"re not spending to much time waiting to watch 3rd Rock from the sun.unfortunately it has been cancelled for a few years and like a playlist from St. Patricks Day gig is only available via reruns. The comedy channel perhaps..I am hoping this posting can help out a child of the 60's (ok a teenager of the 60"s)I am desperately trying to secure tickets for The Lighfoot concert in Ottawa Nov/06. Here is the problem art center donor have had over a week to get them...folkfest subscribers will have almost a week to get tickets before they go on sale to the common man.If any could pass along the password to mykhew@yahoo.com...I would greatly appreciate it THANKS-Myk in Ottawa (I'm really a nice guy who is getting desperate for tickets)

Thank you all for your concern, here"s an update. For the two shows in November I was able to purchase tickets for both nights.November 10th I settled for single ticket within the first 10 rows(we purchased 4 tickets in all and its a flip of the coin to see who gets the closest) for th 11th both seats are in the 3rd row. Here is something off topic but Gord related - I was fortunate enough to catch The way we feel last Saturday here in Ottawa(could not have better seats front row center-A BIG THANKS TO HEATHER - who took pity on me or was it my whinning) Any how not one performer sported a 12 string guitar - is this out of respect to Mr Lightfoots perfection of the instrument? - all feedback welcome; Thanks

When Terry Tufts is in the show he plays a 12 string....I think when he does CRT. As did JP.Cormier when he did CRT last year.
And Aengus has as well - perhaps when doing The Wreck. They didn't do CRT in Port Hope tho....Terry wasn't there and Aengus did two other songs.

Does anyone have a list of the songs that are played with a 12 string?
Amazingly it's only the last few years that I ever noticed the difference between 6 and 12 strings when Lightfoot changed guitars on stage.
lol!
The selection of songs is done by each performer when they submit their choice...it's first come/first serve and if the artists don't choose, for whatever reason, a 12 string song then there's no 12 string songs.
The song choices have always been varied in many ways and with 1 or 2 twelve string songs it's a full and wonderful show....they're just 8 hours too short!

Hey RJ - you KNOW I am a seasoned Lightfoot listener but truth be told...unless I see him holding a 12 string I can't tell the difference on a CD....
I know - I'm BAD!
lol
That's why Lightfoot is on stage and I'm not!
lol
You can give me a private lesson in November....I promise not to touch the geetars tho....but I will carry them in their cases for you again!
lol
geeze - I did that in Saratoga for Ed too.....what's up with that?

Great picture and yes there is a resemblance to John Lithgow. Funny how for me that the guitar caught my attention, Gibson 12 String, must sound great.

oh Ron you sell yourself short me boy-o!
Don't let Ron back away from patting himself on the back - he's a maestro on those babies of his....he's got the touch fer sure!
There's 30 or more people who will attest to that!
