Well DMD3 I am not at all sure what you were trying to tell us but using Google I ascertained that you omitted the sub-folder yarmouth between the site domain name and the page yarmouth.html
i.e. the full URL should be:- http://www.rmstitanichistory.com/yarmouth/yarmouth.html. but after several attempts to get there (each time everything locks up for me)
I got nowhere very fast
even stranger was a try at the folder in which the required page resides ie:- http://www.rmstitanichistory.com/yarmouth
that told me that I was forbidden to even go there!!

??? that link is not to an actual image DMD3 (you have pasted in the URL of the page upon which there is possibly a picture you wished us all to see??( but see my message above for the futility of trying that site anyway
I also noted that the "titanic" site contains a link to "shipwrecks" which refused to open for me.
No way to run a railroad IMHO

Just trying to show a picture of the Yarmouth Castle that Gord was singing about. I figured most of us had seen it already but since it wasn't as popular as the Big Fitz I just thought I'd link(or try to) to that site anyway. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
(After posting that message I went to it to see if it worked but I couldn't get on it either)

OK DMD3 that is rather what I thought you intended and very laudable if I may say so.
But you can only link and thus display individual pictures not the whole web page.
For that you just copy the actual page/site URL from your address bar and paste that into your message the board then automatically converts your URL into a nice orange-colo(u)red clickable hyperlink
Funny that that site is playing up today
Fortunately it is not the only site with a pic of the Yarmouth Castle on it
try this one:-
http://www.lostliners.com/Yarmouth_Castle/Images/Yarmouth_Castle.jpg
The Yarmouth Castle
also:-
http://www.lostliners.com/Yarmouth_Castle/Images/fire_close.jpg
Yarmouth Castle fire raging through the night.
Whilst on this subject I am sure I recently read a posting somewhere about some survivors I think they might have been related to the poster but having sifted through the results of a search for "yarmouth castle" on the newsgroup http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&safe=off&q=yarmouth+castle&btnG=Google+Search&meta=group%3Dalt.music.lightfoot
I am blowed if I can find it again!!!

Thanks for the attempt DMD3 and the pictures John. The fire picture is so eerie looking. Wasn't there a ship anchored by Toronto that caught fire also, a lot of passengers died there but the Captain got off the ship? I somehow thought that that was the Yarmouth Castle. Well can't be right all the time.

Char, it is not Noronic. It's moronic. Just joking! That was too easy to pass up.
