For some reason,Your post caught my eye,really don't know why..
Every Gord concert I've been to has been as You described.Though some hear "weakness" or being a bit thin or whatever here and there,I do not hear that.I'm just honoured and delighted to be there.

Hello, Brian Winslow. Thank you. The weakness or thin that others describe, I also hear that too. But to me it sounds like strength and fortitude and I know that I am among the fortunate ones to be a part of the whole experience.
Are we related? I don't know any Brians and we are a pretty connected clan. My parents are from northern maine. Valerie
