Hi,
I was wondering what people here think of the cover that Elwood have done of Sundown a few months back?. If you haven't heard, they're basically a rap group, and they have sampled parts of the song. The chorus is sung, and the verses are pretty much spoken.
Any thoughts?. Personally, I don't think it's too bad and it's better than IYCRMM from stars on 54.

The verses took a bit of getting use to, but the chorus is great. Sounds like he sampled Gord's 12 string guitar.
Still haven't heard it. It hasn't been released in the UK yet (or so I'm told). My daughter has heard it on cable a few times. She's not too sure about it - she was brought up on the original. BTW it was tipped to be a big hit here in the UK.
