R U ready for Gords next album?

I was reading through old threads and found this topic: http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002059.html (I decided not to bring it back up, this "?Gordon Lightfoot?" guy kept posting weird stuff) Someone said there was another album coming out with 17 songs on it. Now, I really shouldn't care about another album, since I've got a long way to go in collecting the ones already released, but I am still ready for this next album to come out nontheless. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

It's only been 4 1/2 months since Harmony came out H.
I don't think you'll see a new CD until late 2005 or the start of '06. Personally,I don't like to think that far ahead,just enjoy the present until the future becomes that. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif

If it were a different time,there'd be a new Gord album every year but he's not under that kind of contract. Been me,later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

Seriously, I would not expect a new studio Lightfoot album before '07 or '08. I really think he'll have only one more before he's 70. I certainly hope he proves me wrong, tho...

But all we can do is take it a day at a time. If the shows go well maybe they'll consider a new live album.

I think he will release Gord's Gold III - "The Corfid Files" in the near future. He may have to edit some of the entries though. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
