I'm starting to believe Gord's going to get every possible award a man can get in his field and also in relation to his extra-caricular activities! I recal on one thread last year,I said he'd soon be eligible for the Nobel Peace Prize! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Could happen at this rate! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

Hello Char,
Yes, the first inductees have been laid in concrete. Check out
<folkwalk.ca>. We have a few pictures and will put them on the web site
asap.
the newest inductees are Leonard Cohen and Estelle Klein. We will lay
them in the spring when the temperature is warm enough to set the
concrete.

I'm just waiting for Gord to recieve the Kennedy Center Honors award....you know the show that's on tv every December where the President attends...I know for certain that non-Americans are eligible.

Well, to be more specific, the picture was taken last
year - about 15 minutes after the city guys laid the thing
in the sidewalk. The pavement was still pretty
wet :)

And you didn't feel the urge to carve your name into the wet cement? Just imagine. It could have stood forever right next to Gord's name.

The look like the shiny sneakers Gord was wearing a few years ago. He had a black pair and a silver pair. Remember?
