I just had a serious thought! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Gord could have a PC at home... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/bluecomputericon.gif
He could be watching us right now... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/notebook.gif
He could be reading our posts... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/smily868.gif
He could even be participating... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/user.gif
He could even be one of us... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/darthmavis.gif

Did you ever think about it?
Really.....................

Actually,I don't find that so hard to believe. I know it's been said GL isn't much for PC's but people do change.
Even I once said I'd never had one of these! If Gordon is one of us on here,I'll bet he's none to thrilled with "D" right now. (You know who I mean. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif )

Yeah, I didn't relish the thought either Violet...(shudder). That man needs more sleep. SM, not Gord. Although, for all I know, Gord may need more sleep too.

Lightfoot Zippoed his portion while I ate mine just as he was. I only ate one of Lyle's little legs so it's not like there was much to roast anyway. Lightfoot devoured the breast, the other leg, neck and wings. Lyle's little beak was used to clean his teeth and then Lightfoot flung it into the frigid Chiniguntha like a cigarette butt and said "I hated that little sob anyway. If it wasn't for Meatloaf, I would have killed that little bastard years ago. Did I ever tell you the story about the fire Lyle caused at my party?" That's when he told me how the fire started.

ROTFL Oh my what a story! What happened to the claws?

TheWatchman
08-31-2004, 09:15 AM
There were no claws. Lightfoot had them removed shortly after the burning curtain incident. Remember when Lyle grabbed a piece of that burning coat and then perched himself upon one of Lightfoot's curtains and turned it into a blazing hell? Inleau of killing Lyle he had his claws removed so he could no longer fly around with burning bits of fabric and start fires.

This story just gets better and better.

Okay, I will admit that remaining on planet Earth, I have no clue about Lyle, or picking Gord's teeth with a beak, but this one has me in tears from laughing so much! What are you talking about???
I think the idea that Gord could be watching, or even one of us, sounds like an episode out of the "Twilight Zone"! BUT...
Anything is possible!

I'm having the following chiseled into my gravestone: "I told you they were out to get me!"

But I'm not paranoid. Who said I was paranoid? People are always talking about me behind my back like that, saying things about me that just aren't true.

But I am not paranoid.

you know i wonder if Lightfoot or most famous people of anykind would even bother joining such groups like these? i belong to many yahoo groups especially music groups and no one famous has ever joined. they are either to busy or just don't wanna for whatever reasons. 1 reason i can think of is when they're not at work they might want to forget about it. witch is understandable when you stop to think about it. that's just my guess. it's not easy being famous.

Have you ever fixed any famous toilets? I worked FedEx for a while and met John Elway (Broncos quarterback) and Annie Denver (JOhn Denver's ex). Wasn't too exciting though.

Some do take part in lists and boards. I know John Stewart occasionally posts to his list and I believe there are a few others.

Lightfoot has always said he does not utilize the WWW so you will never ever see a post from him here, although if I was Barry I would strongly urge him to have someone create his own controlled website. Some artists do this, the only board I know of where members of the band actually post is Worlds Apart by Saga, the band members periodically post messages but it's not very often.

Time and interest, probably. If you weren't born into the age of computer use, the technology can be intimidating (or the idea of it, anyway.) Some artists are very into websites, real hands-on, others farm it out, still others have little or no web presence. At least Gord has the Linus web page, such as it is. And sites like Wayne Francis' website. And the fan newsgroup and this discussion forum. He's too guarded about his personal life to chat online with who knows who's at the other end. Much better to chat in person after a concert.
