Interesting. The boy's father sent me several photos right after it occured, but didn't respond to my email asking what the occasion was so I didn't do anything with the photos. He just said his son had met Lightfoot. Now I know what the occasion was. Thanks for the answer!
It's a shame none of us got wind of this performance before it happened ... maybe there will be more during his down time before Gordon resumes his tour schedule?

Nope - not going to Mariposa this year....I'd like to see Ron Sexsmith but he's onstage on Sunday night and it's too far to head home for early work on Monday!
I like the 'every 5 years' meeting up with Lightfoot for my birthday every 5 years! lol...birthday #45 in 2000 and #50 in 2005- next time will be #55 in 2010...
lolol
oh my goodness that's funny!
I'm heading to Toronto tomorrow...I'll check out the art show at Nathan Philips Square - http://www.torontooutdoorart.org/web/index.php , the festival on Yonge St. - http://www.toronto.ca/special_events/streetfest2006_pre1.htm ...a few other spots possibly...
Indy race weekend - http://www.grandprixtoronto.com/, Italian Festival - http://torontofiesta.com/media.html (oh my-if Italy wins the World Cup on Sunday it will be crazy like in 1982!) Lots to do in the big smoke!
