This may be an esoteric posting, in that not everyone can realate to, but be that as it may,
I had the opportunity to purchase a very high end audio-video system comprised of a Krell cd/dvd player and amplifier and high end Revel speakers. I paid an arm and a leg for this system and the first CD I played on the system was the "Sundown" album. Boy...even tho it was recorded 31 years ago, it sounded as new and crisp as anything put out today. I fully credit Gord's old engineer Lee Hirshberg for this..they must have used the latest, most high end analog gear to do this recording. Hopefully any CD that Gord releases in the coming years won't have to bow to budget concerns...he always put quality first and I hope it continues....I don't think Gord will ever work with Lee again, but they really made beautiful music together...

Artists like Gordon would not (and should not!) ever settle for less than the best quality performances, lyrics and sound. In the world of music making, less isn't more.
