Welcome! You'll find us a friendly bunch with lost of things in common- mostly the love of Gord's music. You'll more than likely check in with this message board on a regular basis- it get addictive. LOL! Like Silver Heels, I'm not telling my true age, but I'm nearly twice your age (most of us are, btw). I hail from Atlanta, GA.

It is amazing how Gordon Lightfoot's music transends generations. My daughter who is older than you listens to his music as do my grandchildren. He is a man for all ages. Welcome to the Club.

I do believe you have found a "home", here in this community of kindred souls. And how lucky that you get to live so close to Char!
(she's my special angel.)
I've met so many young fans out on the concert trail. There have been a few as young as 5 standing by the backstage door
looking totally strung out and anxiety ridden about meeting their hero!
There was one little girl, in particular, at
a Cleveland concert in the mid-late 80's and I've often wondered if she visits this site.
She was only 5 and I took her backstage to meet Gord before the show. (a rarity) She was sooo emotional and had a huge speech for him about how much she loved him. It was so
adorable that Gord and I had to TRY and keep a straight face. It was that touching and that cute. She was a lil heartbreaker!
