I love my pillow too, and if I can get to bed before my dog gets there, I even get to use it! :D

How about pillow fights? Those can be fun. And has anyone really had one where the pillow breaks open, sending feathers flying everywhere, or does that only happen on TV?

Yep Bill, it is in the wrong place. But to save you I will make a Lightfoot connection. I have taken my pillow to every Lightfoot concert in 2005 and I don't share it.

Deb should be made to leave it at the door. Imagine the number of fleas EEEEW!
Probably her technique for getting those sitting next to her to vacate their seats? Fiendishly clever as one would expect from said individual...

I've been know to have pillow fights with the dog :D She usually wins because she eventually grabs it and runs. The cats refuse to participate in any of this nonsense. Something about being afraid of being mistaken for a pillow by the dog . . .

Sharron, that has happened at my house when i was a little kid....the feathers from an old down pillow went everywhere!
All 4 of us kids were in one big room with 2 full size beds..me and my sister in one and my 2 brothers in the other. that arrangement didn't last long because we always fought and never could get any sleep. we had major pillow fights alot.
always thought "Pillow Fight" was a cool name for an all girl band!
Deb -
I bet you'd share that pillow with the right person!
lol
;)
I have no idea what or why Billyboy is doing with this topic.....perhaps he's got his head stuffed in a pillowcase???
lol
if he's missing at CHAT tonight I'll send the Mounties looking for him....

Apropos an earlier acrimonious topic that got moved then finally deleted by our most Charming Moderator I had disputed with her whether us plebs could move a topic ourselves.
I now note that there is a tempting " move topic" link here but if you have the temerity to click it you are informed unequivocally:-
"Only administrators or moderators may perform this action."
Well done Deb on linking this to a Lightfoot theme I am sure Bill now owes you big time.
May I now add a link of my own.
In my youth I was particularly fond of an old country hit by Hank Locklin
"Send Me The Pillow That You Dream On"
listen to a 29 second clip by visiting:-

I would rather like to hear a Lightfoot version of this classic 50's country hit
John Fowles
I can picture every move that a man could make
And so I guess I'll move along It doesn't matter if the sun don't shine ...
Just let me know and Ill move on Down to the station
Let me move along for the road never ends Vowing to live till the end of all time
Here inside these walls that seem to move a little closer every day

Last year when I drove from Vancouver to Toronto to attend the Lightfoot festivities my pillow came with me as was under my head every night. Ron Jones.
Oh Ron - you KNOW that pillow was for your geetars!

Like many folks we have a pile of 'decorative' pillows on the bed that have to be removed before one can sleep in it. Then we each have two sleeping pillows ?? OK - I put one aside or on the floor and sleep on 'my pillow' which is about 3/4s or 1 inch thick and fairly firm. All the other pillows have been replaced about 4 times since this one was new but I asked my wife to leave it alone. My wife and daughter travel with their pillows but I don't dare carry mine outside for fear it might fall apart. Sad, but true!
My name is BillW - thanks for letting me share.
Bill :)

I am just so envious that all you guys have these 'my' pillows. I truly have never found one that is that special. I have obviously lived a deprived life. :)

Michael,
Welcome aboard.
Did you bring your pillow?

Michael ,
You are the only banana bender on Corfid!
Welcome!
"I heard you talking in your sleep" probably because your pillow was too soft or too hard. A too soft or hard pillow always makes one "Restless". This post fits here.

In Hospital the nurses give you a Hug Pillow . . . it helps - really helps.
So, now I have a Hug Pillow all to my own. I call her Miranda.
The Gord Connection:
Corfid is how I came to call her Miranda.
Did you ever give thought that Hug Pillows *do* have gender?
Blessings,
The Rez

Probably her technique for getting those sitting next to her to vacate their seats? Fiendishly clever as one would expect from said individual... Darling Stephie, you must tell the whole story of how I found you sleeping with the only cur that would let you near, I lent the dog my pillow because he was so kind to share his space with you. But, alas you had already filled the poor dog with fleas and there were so many from you that I couldn't rid the pillow of all of them in the little time I had (three months) but all is well again and the pillow is Steve free once again.

I don't have clue what this post is all about.
It looks like spam to me. I did not post this.
