Shadows isn't on CD but five of the songs are on the Songbook boxed set and "Baby Step Back" and re-recordings of "Triangle" and "Shadows" are on Gord's Gold vol.II.

Where did you get the tape? I've been looking for it for a long time and haven't been able to find it. Same with Salute.

For those of you who do not know, there are four Gordon Lightfoot albums which have never been released on compact disc anywhere in the world. They are "Old Dan's Records", "Shadows", "Dream Street Rose", and "Salute". Warner Brothers, to the best of my knowledge, still owns the masters to them, so it's their call. However, there is an ongoing campaign to get them released domestically in the U.S. There is a rumor that Early Morning Productions, Gord's management office, has expressed an interest in buying the masters and releasing them on their own, but this is completely unconfirmed. It's even more odd that they were never released in his native Canada.
