I just LOVE that pic! I have a copy and if I can correctly remember that far back, it's not a bad feature.

You can read it here - it's about fourth from the bottom [April , 1975, Crawdaddy
Gordon Lightfoot rises After "Sundown"
7 Page Special]: http://www.corfid.com/gl/press_articles.htm

And I love that pic, too.

I,m sorry to disagree, but I have got 15 albums, and there is not a hint of blue. They are gorgeous brown eyes (except on the cover of Old Dan's Records, where they look rather green!

No Rik I do not recall seeing. But thanks to the ever vigilant Annie who knows her way around corfid far better than I obviously do I have now been able to read the full article
John Fowles
P.S the way this topic has developed puts me in mind of the Elton John song that I like more than all the others "Your Song" especially these lines which wonderfully sum up how observant I am in these matters. I am never even sure what colo(u)r my own eyes are!!
"So excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen"

From one who has gazed into them, trust me. They are blue. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

they may have been a more apparent blue in his younger days but the last few times i've been "up close and personal" the blue hardly has shown and hasn't in any photos either.
i watched an old video the other night when he was around 32 and even then his eyes didn't show on tv as being "very" blue".

They may be like my husband's eyes - they're blue but sometimes look gray, depending on what he's wearing. If and when I get that close I'll report back to the group, LOL

Eye color can and does change with age (or disease), at least for a percentage of Caucasians. See link:
