If you had to choose a string of FIVE CONSECUTIVE Gordon Lightfoot albums to represent your favorite GL "era," which five would you choose? Here is the list of his albums in order, in case you don't know the order:

Here's my list: If You Could Read My Mind, Summer Side of Life, Don Quixote, Old Dan's Records, Sundown. This is the absolute classic period, IMO. I'm curious to see what others' lists look like. I know some people will want to include all 20 in their list, but try to come up with your FAVORITE FIVE IN A ROW!!!

I much prefer the later albums. The first four are right up there, and Waiting For You is a wonderful album, though not on par with the first four.

However for consistency's sake, I'd take the five between "Don Quixote" and "Summertime Dream".

Yep I am one of the "I'll take all of them" but I guess it would be Sundown through Dream Street Rose. But just like my favorite song, this choice will change as the days go by.
