Couple of other brief live notes -- as far as advanced planning goes, Thursday (Feb. 9) brings one of the truly great Canadian musicians to our area. Gordon Lightfoot will head to the Mizner Park Amphitheatre -- he's one of those guys worth seeing because you don't really realize how many good songs he's done until you see him play every last one. Besides, anyone who can create a tune like Sundown -- a song that even punk bands love covering -- deserves a big mention.
