Great topic! My favourite 3 are : Sundown, COTS, and definitely Harmony. I think Harmony especially is making all of us feel right about our own worlds again! Thanks for the read,
Fred

Not in any particular order
Harmony
Endless Wire
Summertime Dream
I would say Gord Gold and Songbook but that would be cheating.

Don Quixote
Did She Mention my Name
Harmony
But, actually, that was hard to narrow down. I could have included at least five others! But then it wouldn't have been three!

Tie for third between Summertime Dream and Harmony http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif But ask me again in a year and the answer might be different.

My three favorites? Lets see...today I will pick, Sundown. Sundown was my introduction to GL music. Shadows, and Waiting for you. If I think about this to long I'll keep changing my mind, so there it is!

Is APPT really your favorite Gord album? I find that interesting. I think you are being sarcastic, but I could be wrong.

Sundown
Don Quixote

I think APPT may have been DMD3's first CD and as such holds a special place for him. I LOVE the album myself - out of the now 20 where would you place it ?

Hmmmm. I do like it very much. I don't think it's one of his strongest albums. Out of 20, I would have to place it at 19 or 20. I just love all his other albums so much and I can't think of one that doesn't have six or seven truly great songs on it. Endless Wire may be 20, I don't know. East of Midnight probably 18. It's hard. All his stuff is so great. But I understand how your initiating album can hold a special place for you.

I with Watchman on this one. How can I choose? It depends on mood and attitude, and that changes daily. I'm still updating my CD collection (have it ALL on vinyl, but no turntable anymore http://www.corfid.com/ubb/frown.gif)and just choosing what to get next is difficult. I just discovered Amazon, so I have been a shopping fool everytime I get a little extra money. (being single is good, my money goes where I want it to) Believe it or not, EOM was one of my first purchases. I'm all about the lyric, and those are fantastic. I already had WFY, APPT. I hadn't heard some of the songs in (gasp!)years. Totally different perspective on them after so long away. For instance, I used to think Tatoo (Salute) was so-so, now it's one of my favorites.
Well, I'm just babbling now. It all comes down to one thing...I can't choose.
