Did Gord ever write any songs about getting back at a loved one for leaving you or making you feel bad? Say you like someone, and they get you to like them, then all of a sudden start dating someone else and shoot you dirty looks to try to make you feel bad. So you decide your going to try to become a better person to be boyfriends with in hopes that she will want to start dating you and when she does break her heart for a change. I could use a song about that. Any ideas?
(The only 2 I can think of are 'You'll Still Be Needing Me' and 'For Lovin' Me', and those are only partially related)

DMD3,

Since you're working on your musical skills check out "How Do You Like Me Now" on the CD of the same name by Toby Keith. It's just what you're looking for and there is a music video of it.

Sorry I couldn't think of a good GL tune.

Not sure if this fits, but how about Too Much To Lose?

"Now Your Messing With A Son-Of-A-Bitch" by Nazareth.

How about "Ain't No Good Woman" or "I'm Gonna Kick Your A** To The Curb" by TheWatchman.

Those show complete anger, perfect for me. But I feel so stupid for not thinking of 'Race Among The Ruins' earlier. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

I’m still best friends with my first boyfriend from (cough) years ago, so don’t be too sure about wanting to break her heart. We’ve both helped each other through some tough times.

Auburn Annie and Cathy (Small Talk) reminded me to dig out my old Jim Croce (Many thanks, Girls!) and there are three tracks on The Very Best Of… Album that would suit your “anger” perfectly:-

Lover’s Cross
One Less Set of Footsteps
Next Time This Time

Then, you could cheer yourself up by listening to Mississippi Lady!

If your Dad doesn’t have them, it’s worth asking for the Album for your Christmas stocking.

There you are – I didn’t tease you once; and, as I’m off to reformat my hard drive, you will probably never hear from me again!

Bye. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Edited for spelling.
