Congradulaions on getting the tickets, you
two!
Char, did you get the best seats in the house? (I hope!)
Rose, Massey Hall is so beautiful. It's the ultimate setting for a Gord concert!
Now, hang in there ladies and breathe slowly.
In... out... in... out... and in case of occassional hyperventilation - don't forget
those paper bags!
ps. Char, I loved your detailed and charming reports from the Folk Festival! Thank you!

What are the chances of still getting tickets in the Spring? I won't know until then if I can swing the time/expense to go to Massey. I'm stressed! He is scheduled for North Carolina -- so I know I can get to that.
Bill, talk to Jenney Rivard. I know she is buying a few extra just in case and also
there may be some 'returns'. It's worth checking with her. Her addy: JenRivard@aol.com
Hope to see you there.

Bill (and anyone else thinking about going to Massey):
I would NOT count on getting tickets next Spring. Last year (Nov 1999), the Saturday concert was sold out long before, and the Thursday and Friday were down to the gallery and/or singles well before the day of the concert. And this time, because the concerts are in May, and Massey announces in August, there are NINE months for people to order tickets, rather than the three last time. If you order tickets and find out that you can not go, you will probably be able to find several other people who will gladly take them off your hands.
Jenney has ordered some additional tickets, but these "extra" tickets are being spoken for quickly. So if you want to see Gord at Massey next Spring, you should really try to decide quickly, knowing that you can probably find someone to take your place if you can't make it after all.
PS: Just got mine in the mail today. It takes a few days longer to get here ...

AT the concert in San Diego I was talking to Barry Keane. He asked if I had ever been to Massey Hall? I said no. He said that it is like going home for them. He enjoys playing there tremendously. I hope that I do get a chance to go to Massey. At this point I cannot make a committment but perhaps it might be possible.
