You know friends, I have been trying so desperately to find a copy of Floyd's beautiful album I Remember Hank Williams but I have had absolutely no success what so ever. As many of you know Floyd has always been my idol anda I just love his style of playing so much and as promised I will send one of you a copy of my CD real soon, but I have been trying so desperately to look for Floyd's album I Remember Hank Williams which I believe was released in early 1961 or 62. Also another album which he did and I understand it has a tear jerking version of the Browns's classic Three Bells. Oh gosh I am having goose pimples and tears in my eyes I really and truly want to have these two albums for it will really lift my spirits up as I have been having so many problems with people lately not from this board but some immature teenagers have been giving me such a bad bad time. If anyone can please help and I know that many Gord fans out there love Floyd Cramer for after hearing Remember Me and other early Lightfoot compositions.
God bless and I will look forward to hearing from any of you! You may Email me at maheen5894@sympatico.ca if you have these Floyd Cramer albums. They are not on CD at all so if you can put them onto a cassette that would be awesome. Love you! Your friend always, Maheen.

Scroll down just past Patsy Cline - - they have a copy in Very Good condition for 6 dollars. http://www.oldandgold.com/country.html

getting it onto cassette - call around to some record stores - they may know someone who does transfers.

Here in Phoenix,I see Floyd Cramer albums in most thrift stores for a $1 or 2. I don't know if I saw that particular one though.

The only Floyd Cramer I have,is a special 45rpm copy of his take on the theme from,"Dallas". Good luck though! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have the LP "I Remember Hank Williams" by Floyd Cramer. It has some scratches on it, otherwise in great shape for as many times as it has been played. I am 48 years old and listened to this album over and over when I was about 9 or 10. It has been in a storage container for like 15 years. My wife bought a record player for us for Christmas and I have been playing the album. I love Jambalaya and I Saw the Light, best of all!

Wish I could put it on CD or tape for you, but the contraption doesn't have that feature. I am sure you will find it somewhere if you haven't already, perhaps on e-bay. Surprisingly the old LP's sell kinda cheap.

Later!
