Sorry if this is repetitive, but I just happened upon this board and am completely new.

I have a quick question... Does anyone have an interpretation to the meaning and motivation behind the song "Sundown?"

My interpretation is how a woman can sometimes pull the wool over a man's eyes and when caught,tries to charm him out of being upset.

Speaking of this song,it was so great in the 6am hour at work this morning to hear a radio D.J. play it without my having to call the station for once! :) That doesn't happen very often w/ Lightfoot songs. :cool:
